2019 KVC Gala at the Abbott Raises Nearly $300K for Children and Families in Crisis
Thank you to all those who participated in this year’s KVC Gala and supported children and families in need!
Havana and Kansas City intersected for one sold out night for KVC’s Gala at The Abbott on Friday, November 8th!
Vintage cars lined the street as guests arrived. Inside, nearly 600 party-goers enjoyed delicious cuisine and hand rolled cigars, played Heads or Tails and danced to the music of Lost Wax. Throughout the night Michael Savage created a beautiful work of art that was then auctioned off. To cap things off, Frank Boal led a thrilling live auction. All proceeds from the night benefited the children and families we serve.
Thank you to our generous corporate sponsors, donors, committee members, party-goers and volunteers for making this year’s Gala such a success!
We would like to extend a special thank you to our Gala Chairs, Beth and Patrick Whalen. We’re so grateful for your support and partnership!
We’d also like to thank: Michael Savage, Certified Tobacconist Kevin Baxter, Lost Wax and Umbrella Photo Booth for keeping our guests entertained all night long; Randy Neal Floral Design who brought the flair of Havana with tropical florals; and Karen Watts Catering, Cinzetti’s, Company Kitchen, La Bodega and Peggy Melton who delivered mouth-watering food and beverages for all of our guests.
If you weren’t able to attend the 2019 Gala, you can still support children and families served by KVC by making a donation.
