On Wednesday, September 2, a team of about 20 individuals from Heinen Landscape and Irrigation arrived bright and early to embark on a one-day extreme landscape makeover at KVC’s Olathe, Kansas office and Ball Conference Center.

From 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., the team planted 90 shrubs, 18 trees and placed 10 tons of crushed granite for patio areas. The entire project, valued at about $17,500, was completed at no cost to KVC, and several materials were donated by House of Rocks and KAT Nurseries.

A portion of the KVC Health Systems’ Olathe campus houses the Ball Conference Center, and a percentage of all events hosted at the BCC go to help children through KVC. The new landscape upgrade is sure to raise interest in booking the venue for wedding receptions, conferences and special events.
