By encouraging philanthropy, the KVC Foundation helps KVC’s local teams be agile and innovative in strengthening families, preventing child abuse and neglect, and helping both children and adults achieve mental health wellness.
KVC Health Systems’ local teams have facilitated 5,539 children’s adoptions. Yet over 122,000 children nationally are still waiting for adoptive families.
Over 123,000 children and teens in foster care are waiting to be adopted. New videos from AdoptUSKids.org show the rewards of adopting a teen.
In the U.S. there are more than 120,000 children and teens who are waiting for forever families. In November, KVC Health Systems will facilitate over 100 children’s adoptions.
When fully implemented, MyLink will use iPads to transform care delivered to children in over 1,000 foster families in Kansas, Nebraska, Kentucky and West Virginia.
On May 22, 2015, KVC Health Systems will celebrate the opening of the new KVC Institute in Olathe, Kansas.
